Vytas Vintimilla is an Electrical Engineer – Gear Specialist who has been with SCE for the past three years and brings over 22 years of experience in the electrical industry. Specializes in the design, coordination, and procurement of electrical distribution equipment for multifamily, commercial, and industrial projects. At SCE, he has primarily focused on residential and commercial developments as a Gear Specialist, managing electrical distribution equipment and providing technical leadership to ensure reliable, efficient, and code-compliant power distribution solutions.

Experienced in managing switchboards, busways, submetering devices, modular metering centers, panelboards, load centers, safety switches, generators, and other related electrical distribution equipment. Leads value engineering initiatives to optimize system performance, improve efficiency, and reduce overall project costs. Works closely with general contractors, engineers, utilities, vendors, and manufacturers to deliver cost-effective, code-compliant solutions.

Supports projects from budgeting and procurement through final submittals and construction coordination.  Strong knowledge of NEC requirements, utility standards, manufacturer guidelines, and electrical distribution equipment to ensure compliance and industry best practices.
